If you're wondering if our last name is Greek - I'm happy to tell you that you're right! We are actually a blended family and proud of it. My name is Isabella and I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I lived there for almost ten years before moving with my parents and brother to New York. My husband Giannis was born in New York but his parents are originally from Greece. We met when we were still in high school and have been together ever since. We have a triumphant, loving and very artistic daughter Sophia, who is six years old. As well as a son, Nicholas, who is almost two years old and is very energetic, affectionate and loves animals and big trucks.
Yianni and I have been married for almost eleven years but we have been together for twenty! I am a second grade teacher in a NYC public school. I have my TESOL certification and this allows me to teach English to anyone from children to adults. I also have a small Young Living business where I share the products that have helped and continue to help us on our wellness journey. We were married in a Greek Orthodox church by our beloved priest. And when it came time to baptize Sofia and Nikolaos, we decided to do it in the same church with our beloved priest as well.
I love traditions, organizing, quotes, yoga, coffee, reading, writing, fashion, and gifts for family and friends—just because. We love to travel and together we have been to many memorable places such as Brazil, Greece, Costa Rica, Canada, Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, Germany, St. Lucia and so many more. I also like to learn new languages. I am fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish and I am learning Greek.
I can go on and on and that's why I created this space. We have family members and friends who live so far away from us and the best way to keep them up to date with our lives was to create a space. And here we are! And as my new friend, I want to say that I'm so glad you're here to follow our journey of parenthood, wellness, and so many adventures.
